As the FRONT wont be getting the levels of strain as the rear was thinking 30 spline might be the go.
Stock RRC housing(bolt in no sump clearance issues with LSA and max clearance under pumpkin)
Ashcroft locker (apparently Zero failures)
Locker broached to 30spline
Hi Tough axles 30-30 and 10 bolt drive flanges
Cruiser Longfield CV
Ashcroft R&P Pegged
Does anybody know the axle circumference increase going to cruiser 30spline?
Also what strength increase are we talking going from 24spline ashcroft/hitough gear to 30Spline Ashcroft/Hitough/longfield gear?
Is the increase in strength really worth it?
Have read this is needed for the front, can anyone confirm this for a 93 RRC:
Bore out your front spindles by 4mm (no strength issues)
Bore out the front swivel housings 4mm as well.
