8) matt, thanks for that,
i learnt the hard way when the disco got really sluggish to change gear,
mines a v8 so out with the cross member, i didn't know then that the filter is a servised part so i went through a rigourous cleaning of the filter, and all went well.
the only thing i have to say about the article is

<span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">[/size]DON'T[size=12]</span> USE A SHIFTER


that is the quickest way to bugger something


i used to be able to throw an apprentices shifter across the tarmac to the other row of hangars!
