Have a sheet metal fabricator lined up for mine not worth the frustration

Slight hijack but is the flexible joint really necessary on a TDI ?
Mine needs replacing but i will be changing the turbo so will need some fabbing to fit.

I would say no as my ute does not have one and its been like it for years. The disco has a flex joint and a cat by looks of it. Yucky poo

never had a flexi joint on my 110 300tdi

No cat just the center muffler, that will get thew flick when i make the new downpipe.
