He kept the r380 behind it aswell. Talk about a time bomb.
I wonder how long it lasted?[/b][/quote]
They are marginal behind a TDI!! Wish there was a strong and cheapish 5 speed that could be bolted up to a LT230. Would put one in the Rangie tomorrow as the ZF gives me the sh*&# behind the Chev.
Gaz,
have emailled Les Richmond Automotive regarding the GQ Nissan 5 speed to L230 adaptor kit. By all accounts it is regarded as a very strong and durable box. Will pass on any useful info.
By the way I have a low k's '97 injected 3.9 that would solve the motor problem with your other rangie.

Yeah the green stuff (money, that is) does in fact grow on trees up here.
But they are trees owned by government and big business, fertilised with the sweat and blood of the working class. :x 8)

Yeah let us all know what Les tells you in regards to his conversion. I have still got the 3.5 injected motor with 90000 k's that i could put in the two door but the chev has more grunt than it and would seem a backward step in power. Trying to get hold of a GEN3 holden at the moment but i dont know if i have first dibs at a local one here.
Cheers Gaz
