Cool Tyre Help??.Mud tyres on 16 inch rims?

Hi guys I am after some mud tires to suit a 16 inch rim, about 6-7 inches wide, so what do you guys run on your series Landrovers?

MY Lj Suzuki currently has 6.50.16 bar treads..

I have 7.50R16 Hi Milers on my Series, they are a very tall 7.50R16, a few mm off my 255/85R16 Bighorns that I have on my County. Hi Milers howl like a bar tread but damn they look awesome, I haven't had them off road yet but I suspect they are better than a bar tread.

Also have Michelin XZLs in 7.50R16 on my other 110, nowhere near as aggressive as the Hi Milers but far quieter! Pity they are hard to get hold of these days, but they may find their way on to my Series at some stage.

    Hello there,

    I have Maxxis Bighorn 762s on 235/85 R16s on D1 steelies.

The Size and offset combo means the steering clearance is better than 7.50 16's on OEM steelies, but the rear rubs more on the tub during articulation (springs are pretty fresh and unrusty).
