its usually just a matter of you telling us what you want and we try to implement it ..Quote:

Whaddya recon incisor ?
what do you want ?
Ive called that number before - bloke was very unhelpful, basically wanted me to come there and see what he had... the trick with these blokes is get you in and sell you across , so you go in wanting 235/85R16 and come out with 245/80R16 etc,
So let the buyer beware i says - make sure you come out with what you went in for and you cant go wrong.
In the tyre industry, we were taught to actually get a vehicle on the driveway as a vehicle on the driveway is a license to print money... you would be surprised at the traning and psychology behind "phone manner" that tyre outlets use. they spend a fortune traning staff and regularly phone test them, that is the old phantom shopper on the phone.
One of the best ones is - come in mate and well talk about it, well see exactly what we can do for you. or
"Ok well you shop round and once you have your best deal call me and ill see what I can do, but ill bet that i can at least match your best price and with the added value of our tyre service guide and discounts on future wheel balancing and alignment I know you will be happy"
Studies show that once you have a customer on the driveway ther are less likely to shop round as opposed to phone shoppers. Remeber tyre shops will ALWAYS match the competition.
For guys in Sydney Australias Best in Lakemba used to quote cost on all Bridgestone / dunlop / goodyear product, they generally wouldnt have the tyres in stock and once you were there they would pull the old "sorry mate we just sold them, but i have these .........." and cross sell you to a tyre at the same price - which they made double to thee times the Gross profit on. Sound familiar anyone??
For mine - find a tyre place you are happy with - one where you dont pay too much profit but you get good service and advice - which is free.
Dont fall for the Old tricks of the game
Regards
Mick
