Re the bearings, actually, having done it again today. the seal change isn't that difficult - but I had access to the correct size drift for driving in the seal (I borrowed one from the local LR workshop). Actually, I used their lathe to modify a drift abaddonxi had given me - it wasn't quite the right size for an RTC3511 (dunno what it was actually for). That put the seal in most of the way then I used the workshop's drift to drive it fully home.
The biggest problem with a seal change is loosening the brake calliper bolts. Always carry a breaker bar!
I also need to modify my tube spanner so I can use it with a torque wrench for tightening the hub nuts. (I forgot to check if my 3/4" drive socket set had the right size socket :( )
