    Product Review: Tefba Radiator Filter

Product review from LROC Brisbane Inc Newsletter:

This ingenious piece of equipment may well save you a small fortune by protecting your radiator against the various bits of rust & other contaminants floating around in your engine's cooling system. Meet the Tefba radiator filter.

As mentioned in their advertising material the Tefba filter safely removes Silastic, Gasket materials, Sludge, Loose particles from chemical washing, and rust particles from the water/coolant travelling back into your radiator.

Fitting is a breeze, simply cut the return hose at the top of your radiator and insert the filter assembly into the gap & use the supplied hose clamps to secure and seal, then top up the fluid. It's that easy.

A couple of members, including Tom and Chuck, currently riun the Tefba filter in their vehicles & swear by them. A word of warning to the new owner of these filters though from Chuck... let your first couple of trips be short ones & clean the filter after each one. On his first trip after fitting he was lucky to make it home before the filter was full of debris from his well-maintained motor !

The Tefba radiator filter is available from:
Frank Tonitto: 122-124 Silverdale Rd, Silverdale NSW 2752.
    Cost is $49.50 plus postage.

It's an Australian made product & could prolong the life of both your engine & radiator. Food for thought.

It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I know it sounds wild but the bloke who owns the place Greg Allen is actually a sewing machine mechanic. He keeps these and other things like slick 50 etc. I know him from my Jag club days he is just a plays with cars in his spare time.
