How is the Donut/3 bolt pinion flange removed? It has a type of centreing spigot in the flange and I cannot access any pinion nut or bolt. Does anyone have a diagram or pic?

Get a slide hammer and pull out the spigot. The nut is behind.
Did some searching on the net, and an alternative was offered using a 36mm socket and an M8x 1.25 bolt:
I've done it a couple of times using the bolt and socket/spacer technique and it worked a treat
Cheers
I'll be doing mine this weekend, took the shaft and parts away with us last weekend and of course the donut didnt fail as i thought it might ;).
