I recall seeing a doco which had the RR designer on it. He was really upset that they used the LT95 in the RR because of the shift quality.

mainly for that reason but probably more to do with the fact that a power kick is only a couple of minutes with a screwdriver and shifter away with no risk of a computer saying..
"I'm sorry dave, I cant let you do that"
A mates uncle use to build race cars and specialise in gearboxes. He would build 6 speeds out of 4 speeds (in same housing) If I had the coin Id take him a lt95 and see if it could be done :)
