Can anyone tell me where I can find a rebuild kit for a series 2A 6 cylinder water pump. I've searched the usual spots, ebay and internet sites but have only found exchange units for around $275(ouch !!) thanks

Might be something here of use: Rover P4 water pump | eBay.
In particular this one looks like a possibility: Rover P4 Water Pump Repair KIT | eBay. If it's not the right part, this seller would probably know what the right one is.
