Looks good. How did you cut it, jigsaw?

I am thinking of doing it to the county's cargo door.

Jigsaw, angle grider, file and a couple of beers. 8O, explains the straight cuts !!

I used 2 or 3mm aluminum chq plate, i think it was about $35-40 and just used some metal self drilling screws.

    Look great

Have you put a sound deadner behind it at all, just wondering if it makes a drumming noise or if you cant hear any difference.

Not sure if it makes a noise yet, did put some foam tape on the back though....

Next job is to put a fold down shelf of some sort, to put the cooker on it.

Let us know how the noise goes, still looks top notch.

This is common trend, fashion to put this sort of plates wherever possible...I don't like that truly. Hard to wipe and clean fast. I am going to use this too, but only in some particular, limited places.
