Ahhh, sorry, I guess I didn't look closely enough at the housing and thought there was a cover. I'll try the oil via the vacuum line opening - didn't get to look at it today, was helping heave an early RRC onto a truck headed to a new home :cool:

Ok, had another look. Plug off threaded connector = light off.
So undid one of the vacuum line retainers, but the vacuum line didn't seem to want to come out, so rather than force anything, thought i'd better check in with you guys.
How tough can I be in trying to remove them to get a little oil in?

Hi rocks, the little fitting is probably full of dust and can't slide inside. Try the CRC with the little jet/tube and your air nozzle t clean inside beside the tube and slowly work it back and forth. I think it has to go in about 2mm to release the tube.

Pretty sure mine are just metal push-lock connectors. Push tube in *hard*, press collar and hold, pull out tube.

Just an update on this...
Managed to get the red and green vac lines out and gave a squirt of oil down the openings.
No change - MD locker light still on.
I couldn't get a spanner on the connector for the white vac line, so have not been able to drop any oil down the opening for this one yet. I'll have another crack at it.
Assuming there is no change with the diff unlocked, is it ok to undo the locknut on the threaded connector and wind it out(?) until the light extinguishes? Then lock the diff and check for indicator to be lit. I though I read somewhere that adjusting the threaded connector could damage the switch?
