    It seams that not many persons in Aust have done a 200 or 300 intercooler upgrade.
    At $3000 i understand why.......

    I'll keep looking and see what i can find.

    Has anyone got a Thermoguard to fit a 200??

    the intercooler from Davis should not be a huge amount - the $3k inc all other mods and dyno time.

    I remember reading in one of the Big 4 Land Rover Mags that they are using intercoolers out of Sports sedans like Silly Cars / Cheewbaglues / and Itsubishi etc,

    I would also try Light Truck wreckers as there are a number of Isuzu Mitsu Turbo intercooled models out there - ........one wouldnt think it would cost that much to have one made up -

    Its a pipe dream job of mine to do this ......but the downside is that in Sydney every Habib Boy Racer will be snappling up the good intercoolers to use on the "its a sik care mate' habib mobiles. doof doof doof doof doof doof doof doof pssssht vroooom pssssht vrooom pssssht and di d d d d d ( how do ya write the noise of a pop off valve maate ....

    Geez Im nasty today - must be cos im on holidays ....... did I mention Im going fishin ......?

    yeah you can use any decent intercooler BUT were do you mount it? the jap converts have mostly been mounted out the front, fine if all you do is race or tow but no good for offroading. plus its probably illegal(not pedestrian friendly) VLAD, yes i have a 3 inch mandrel bent from turbo with Vortex muffler, cost $1400, i'm very happy with it. the turbo spools up much quicker and while there would be some power increase the engine seems more "useable"

    VLAD, taipian XP, at nerang on the gold coast. very nice workmanship, plus they messured the egt befroe and after and increased the fuel pump delivery slightly. they worked in with my mechanic (Ricks 4wd, land rover specialest. three doors down) they(Taipain xp) do alot of high spec ss systems and alot of turbo cars, well know around the coast. they are who i have been talking to re the water to air intercooler.
