some trimming is required!
Looking good Michele.. what offset are you running on the rims?
all this talk of plus (+) offsets is confusing me... I always thought it was negative (-)25 offset that I reccomended.
-25 brings the mounting point on the rim inwards closer to the vehicle, which puts the actual tyre further out from the vehicle right?
I reccomend 0 offset or -25 on any rover. 0 offset is good as it minimises the scrub radius and helps keep the tyres well in the guards when under flex.
I choose -25 on a range rover because that means that I have approx 6" wider (original alloys are +48 or something??) track to compensate for the 4" spring lift. This inturn helps to keep the car just that little bit more stable. Both on and offroad IMHO.
Am yet to see how much difference the total tyre scrub is with the 37 creepys, but hopefully find out soon.
The numbers that I quoted were increases in offset over the stock disco rim specification.

Maybe to stop confusion you should talk back space. This can easily be measured by laying the rim on a flat surface (outside up) and measuring from the mounting surface of the rim to the flat surface it is sitting on.
