    A question about studs....... it's Polite.. I promise!

    Hi Guys,

    I wonder if one of you known the answer to this simple question for me.

    Is the wheel stud pattern the same between the series 1 Discos and the series 2's or P38 Rangies?

    I know that the wheels are different -rim offset etc... but I want to know about stud patterns.


    I am about to buy/ build an offroad trailer - I have been offered a deal that includes L/R hubs - but I want to be able to run same wheels between the car and the trailer - so I want to know if at least the stud pattern is the same.

    While I'm at it ---- anyone have any spare series 2 Disco wheeels for sale????

    I wonder if anyone makes a trailer hub with the right pattern or if I will have to have some modified

    Oh well... if I didn't like a challenge - why would I drive a landy... :roll:

    Yes, I have it on good authority that the stud pattern of SII Discoveries is the same as P38a Rangies and is the same as certain BMW's! And it is different to every other Land Rover ever built!! Brilliant, no?

    No longer can we rubbish Toyota 100 Series owners because Toyota changed from six studs to five...

    There is a mob that makes trailer parts at Newstead in Brisbane, I think they are called "All Vehicle components" or something like that, they will make you hubs with what ever pattern you want. I got a set of Disco 1 pattern for my trailer.
