Hi Adam
If you need a manual, have a look in the downloads section, they are all there to be used.
If there isnt a Stage 1 manual, have a look at the early Rangie front diff, they are basically the same(internals, obviously the coil and discs differ).
My Bro used a strong magnet on a rod to remove his axle piece, others may have other ideas.

just tip the diff up on its side and
give it a few gentle taps on the ground

Broken axle shaft replacement

G'day adamv8,
One of the lesser known tricks of removing a broken axle-end that was still in the diff was to have a piece of round rod 1/2" incased in a length of garden hose, with about 1/2" of rod exposed at the end and enough at the other end to go into an arc welder, feed the insulated rod down the offending axle tube strike an arc, hopefully it will grab the axle and then it can be withdrawn, this was used very successfully at one Leyland dealership in the 60s---80s and the service charges were by the book, Drain,Strip and Remove axle & diff assy, repair, replace, refill, plus parts 8O the profit margin was good as a 2nd year apprentice did it,

DRAIN THE DIFF FIRST and if it is not a clean break, it is strip out the diff centre :x

If you havn't access to an Electric Welder you may have a freind that can do it

Thanks Rocket
I will probably need to ask some friend, as I was not able to remove it with magnet. BTW: how should I dismantle CV joint, to remove circlip and replace broken shaft with new one ?

As no friends with arc welder, and not too many useful advices, I had to remove opposite shaft, remove diff and finally- remove broken piece.
Piece of cake. Defenderzook: your funny (?) advice is useless: I tried and no result, but dangerous for floor :?
So I have done my homework
