    Exhaust flange nuts

    Any advice to make them stay tight?
    I am assuming they were done up when the motor was fitted
    "How long since you've visited The Good Oil?"

    '93 V8 Rossi
    '97 to '07. sold.
    '01 V8 D2
    '06 to 10. written off.
    '03 4.6 V8 HSE D2a with Tornado ECM
    '10 to '21

    High temperature Loctite or make your own using a tapping drill a couple of drills undersize.

    Pedro, if you go to an engineering/bearing shop they should have taper flange nuts for this purpose.

    If you can't get them PM me your tel no and the sizes and I'll look for them for you.

    I cured the problem of the nuts backing off, particularly on the Off side by adding an additional nut as lock nut.
