Don't exactly know the legalities but is it a 5 or 7 seater? If it is a 5 seater I don't think it would matter and anyway who is going to know?
The internal door release on my D2 is inaccessible due to my cargo drawers covering it.
Wondering if anyone knows of the legalities of removing the inside door release handle from the tailgate.
Vehicle is a 95 disco 1 will most likely end up with vic rego. I posted it in here though cause it not disco1 specific as such.
My understanding is legally it has to remain there as it is a 5door vehicle the tailgate being the 5th door.
Anyone able to shed any light on the matter.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

I would be surprised if was a problem as that would make child locks on doors a problem too, as in both cases all you are doing is making the inside door handle inoperative![]()
Why would you want to?![]()

I have seen a drop down table on the back door that required the handle etc to be removed . But I have the back of my D1 set up for sleeping and use the inside handle to get out its easier than the side doors![]()
