Years ago we could block off a line with a brake shoe rivett.
Could keep driving untill we could carry out a proper repair.
The mail must go thru.
Well...the cling wrap and glove finger tips worked a treat. Just finished the removal and rebuild of the caliper. Pistons were pretty corroded.
so thanks all for the tips. Only lost a few drops of fluid.

A partially depressed brake pedal will usually stop fluid running out. A piece of wood cut to the right length and jammed between pedal and seat base.
