You have to buy an intercept device that goes between a couple of computers. I can't remember but it's something like all 4 wheel speed sensors go to the SLABS then there is a single output to the BODY CONTROL UNIT which is what operates the speedo. Could be wrong so don't quote me on that but the device intecepts the signal and then out puts a new signal corrected at whatever you like. I am pretty sure it works like this and the signal doesn't come from the gearbox like most other vehicles. The device is abut $100 or something.

I don't think I could be more vauge there but it will give you a start.

I know the little I know because new BFG KM2 tyres in 245/75R16 put the D2 out by about 10% (ie 100km/h on the speedo is actually 110km/h). It's surprising how quickly that comes back with a little bit of wear. I wanted to fix it as the auto won't lock up until 80km/h which means you have to drive at an actual 88km/h to get it locked up in an 80km/h speed zone.

    Happy Days.

There's a section in the nanocom to calibrate it for wheel size. That calibration only works with the Nanocom in instrument mode. You can't calibrate the vehicle.
