I'll start with a good one. Running out of fuel?![]()
Bro in law has our old disco now, he tells me it starts missing and breaking down on inclines, like a petrol motor that's dropped a few cylinders.
Anybody have any idea as to why?

Possibly sucking air into any fuel hose, on the suction side of the lift pump, ie; only sucking air when fuel demand is highest. Only suggesting this as it happened on my old S2a way back when and it had me stumped for ages.
I'd start with sedimenter, fuel filter then lift pump.

Underneath towards rear of vehicle. Looks roughly like a filter housing and has a plastic bung that unscrews. Drain enough to see if it's clean fuel / drain until it's clean.
Be warned, if it hasn't been unscrewed in a long time you might snap it unfortunately. I did when I first got mine...
