Each time mines not started its when its been sitting in the garage unlocked but no key, you jump in put the key in and wind it over but wont fire a quick lock - unlock and away it goes don't know if its possible it can do it while driving but with computer control stuff who knows.

Try some aerosrart or a petrol soaked rag at the air cleaner inlet. If it fires, you have a fuel issue, if not look elsewhere. Classic symptoms of a failed crank angle sensor.

Have not tried this yet but is on the to do list.
Crank angle sensor has been changed - one of the first things I did.
Have tried the unlock / relock the doors with the key as well.
Have an auto electric mate who is coming over in a couple of days with his scanner tool to see if it shows anything different. Will have a look at the fuses at the same time.

    Update:
It will fire on some aerostat.
Pulled return line off at the fuel pump and it was very little coming through while trying to prime. Had a 2nd pump of questionable working order, changed over - has better return line pressure, but still will not fire. Suspect fuel pump now.
The battery is suspect now as well - only showing 11volts so currently on the charger.

    Fuel filter?

There is also a small gauze filter at the fuel pressure relay

Also, sometimes fuel gets an algae build up - you can best see this at the base of the fuel pump, which can get clogged up starving it

    Good luck, Erich

Even a good battery wont stand up to many primes, the fuel pump is a hungry beastie.

New Filter in place, a new fuel pressure regulator and filter 2 or 3 tank fulls ago.
The tank has been completely cleaned out about a month ago.
Pump is working but not producing any pressure.
    New pump has been ordered.

    Its ALIVE!!

New fuel pump did the trick.
It now appears to be over boosting now when you put your foot into it.

One thing we can not work out with the old pump is it runs but has no high pressure output. Will have a look at the plastic lines in the pump housing to see if they have any holes in them.

There is a way to test if the battery is dead - connect it to a battery charger, if the car starts, probably your battery died. If the car still won't start, you need to check other parts.
