    LT 95 Work

Soon I am going to be cracking my V8/LT95 unit to do some clutch work and replace the engine rear main seal.

While the engine is off the LT95, what things should I do to the front of the LT95 - I had heard that the oil pump plastic gears can be replaced with metal ones through the front. Also the clutch withdrawal bearing which has a plastic housing, can this be replaced with a metal one?

Anything else to replace through the front of the gearbox.

    Thanks

Definitely remove the oil pump housing from the front of the box replace the oil pump gears and check the flatness of the housing.
A sheet of glass and some emery paper will save a whole lot of pain in the future if the housing is warped.
