    Doesn't matter.

    All one needs to do is hit the spanner in the same direction that the fan spins.

    That works for both clockwise and anti-clockwise fan rotation.

    When I posted that, the photo wasn't showing.

    But as a general principle, when asking for help, providing as much detail as you can will make it easier for those trying to help.
