    I've had to take my starter out a couple of times. Was interesting trying to find a combination of sockets and extensions to get to that bolt.

    Mine has done 260,000 k's, the battery light being on makes sense with the no charging fault.
    Hopefully the spares get here from Roverlord as quickly as possible, just got the gearbox redone and want to drive it, then bang -or click as it were- the starter goes

    And you have to use a single hex socket cause if you round it off you're screwed

    The hex socket along with a 3/8 drive 100mm long "wobble" bar will make it relatively easy. The bolt and the nut that you need to undo are different sizes (13mm and 15mm from memory)
