Trailer socket amp rating
I have just fitted a powerwinch to my boat trailer and need to wire it in to my Discovery 3.
I would like to know what the amp rating of the white socket is. the wiring that came with the winch is rated 60amp and has a 60amp circuit breaker fitted. I could run the supplied cable from the battery but it would be easier just to use a plug in the socket.
Any ideas whether the socket is rated high enough and would be ok to use or should I hard wire it.

From memory it is 30Amps. The fuse block is inside the passenger side rear panel just inside the tail gate.
