    D1 3.5 motor/tc mounts

My motor mounts and transfer case mount is worn. Are they the same? I was told by a parts supplier that they were the same mount, but they look different to me....

I believe some people fit Jag mounts which look similar but are bigger.

Not too hard, just use a jack to lift one side at a time or possibly lift from the balancer and do both at once.

Me sur eyou get nuts with them as some suppliers use different threads.
It helps to cut a bit off the bolt also. I don't know why they make them so long.

On the subject of jacking, make sure to take off the radiator shroud when jacking.
If you are going to replace the front mounts, don't just put a bit of wood under the front of the sump and jack. I have heard of the sump bending then the crank hitting. What I did was make up a "T" shaped tool from 40x20MM ( or 20x20) pine and place it under the front flange of the sump and jack onto that.
