Dave, the base model do water level as well or only temperature?
it is a temperature monitor so you attach a sensor to a bolt on the part of the engine or other mechanical unit you wish to monitor.
limit is 150 deg Celcius.
no model does water level monitoring as yet
i recommend the engine saver for coolant level monitoring
