Do it yourself!
It's just bolts, hoses, wires and stuff.
The parts are cheap, as you've discovered.
All you need is a bit of coolant, some gasket goo for the water jacket ports on the valley cover, maybe rocker cover gaskets (but probably not).
The valley cover also has rubber seals at either end. They add to the cost.
I reckon about 4 hours max for a novice.
And a good learing experience.
