    Volvo one might fit.... (i wish, then it might not die)

    so from replacing the window regulator weve gone to replacing the whole door?

    another week and you should have a new car......



    there are after market kits available to fit just about anything....
    have you had a look at that option?

    i dont know what they cost or how reliable they are.

    Im going to look at all avenues to see what is easy and cheap.
    if its all to hard then i wont do it, simple.

    Sliding windows was a dig at older blokes who love the series and BMC cars.... [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif[/img]

    or buy an older Defender like mine with pax side footwell air con rather than under-dash type mounting - nails not an issue then... :roll:

    then leave the windows shut with the air on.....or open shut windows with the door open....eg while stopped at traffic lights.

    Elecy Windows

    The site in the UK that make them specifically for the Defender is www.falcn4x4.com the cost delivered to Australia is about $515AUD. If you reckon thats scary go to any auto elec and ask them to quote a kit and then quote fitting. Central locking is another with fitting this and an alarm I got quoted somwhere between $700-1000 to fit them only. I will be doing it myself.
