got to get the Blue Slip either Friday Arvo / Sat morning and then have a few discussions with the RTA to update my RR info on their 'puter.
Still got a few more tweeks to do - just got my new set of injectors today.

Body works continue.
This is part is not sexy. It involves fiddle and head scratching.
This 20 year old vehicle is revealing it’s frailties hidden previously by seats and bulkheads.
County Owners this could be the bottom of your B pillars. They look fine from the outside but within just iron oxide.

A bit of prosthetic prior to welding back to fill the holes.

Care is required to brace the body to prevent distortion whilst welding.

There is a bung under the pillar. I bought a car which had done lots of beach work. Removing the plastic bung and spraying fresh water up the pillar to wash out the mud and salt would have delayed the rust damage. You can buy similar bungs from Clarkes or land rover of course. It's a bit hard to remove them without destroying the plastic bung. Wrecking a bung every 12 mths is lots cheaper than wrecking a B-pillar.
