True but servos have air hoses that measure in PSI.

They sell litres of petrol and diesel not gallons - and (I daresay, most of us) have Land Rovers that measure distance in Kms not miles.

this is a 82/83 with leaf springs??
is this correct. its deffinatly a county, it has the decals up both
sides. when was the change from stage 1 to county???
is it a stage one/how do i tell???

I was going by the 84 tag, Yes, 82-83 would be the last of the Series 3 Stage 1s which were 3.5 ltr carb fed Leaf Sprung 109s, they were the first model to have Constant 4x4, They were also the last marketed here under the old Leyland Aust banner they were usually Station Wagons, I don't think the 2doored Hardtop was badged as county,
They differed a little in the front CVs to the later Vehicles, as they were basicaly the production prototypes of the soon to be released 110 coil sprung model, but the engine g/box combo was that of the R.R. , At that same time Leyland was winding down, and after a gap of about 18 months the new 110 Landrover was released in Australia by Jaguar-Rover Australia (JRA) that was marketed as the 110 County
