    Swivel Hub Questions

    Hi All

Please advice if I should replace the swivel hubs on my 77 S3 ... There are very minor pit marks, otherwise in very good condition, the seals were not leaking.

I do not want to have to redo them if they fail road worthy

    Thanks

They are fine. Pitted swivels are not a RWC fail - only the leak they will cause. I would use one shot grease in them to help keep them leak free for years.

Yep, the supplied grease is fine. You'll find it's almost a liquid and gets in everywhere very easily. Grease up the bearing and reassemble. Then undo the filler plug on the side of the housing where you would normally check the oil level and squeeze the rest in there.
