Hi 130tdi,
From memory, and this was on a 110, but I doubt there would be any difference, the chassis number was on one of the front rails around the wheel area either on the top or side of the rail :? at least start there, as for the motor, my disco and the previous defenders were on the block just below the head on the drivers side at the front almost covered by the A/C compressor, the disco has some white paint on it to make it stand out, but the defenders were covered in crud so it wasnt visible unless you were looking in the right place.
Hope this helps, not 100% about the chassis number though, but it seems to ring a bell.
Regards Glen.

Snapshots from the pdf's of the workshop manual.
The Defender manuals are available for download from this site (in the Downloads section), in case you don't already have a copy for yourself.

No good now, only got the Disco
But was looking at someone selling the CD the dealers use on ebay for about $12, dunno if they are real tho  but they claim that they are searchable and printable pdf's plus all wiring diagrams etc 8O
Mite have to suck and see, $12 buks aint much to loose but could be a bargain if they are genuine

Don't get the RAVE discs from ebay, get them from the Emporium section on this site. I can vouch for them working properly, and Incisor could do with the support for hosting the site.
