    LT230 Question

    A FTC5089 is a 26 t Long 10 spline cross drilled imput gear.Looking for the part number for short spline undrilled version

    Defender Guide :
    Suffix A or B uses a FRC5428, not available cross drilled @ ? 45
    Suffix C to F uses a FTC5089, cross drilled @ ? 45
    Suffix G, 300 TDi or TD5 uses a FTC4962 @ ? 65,
    Suffix G, TDCi uses a FTC4850 @ ? 65,
    Disco Guide :
    Suffix C to serial number 308626E uses a FTC5089, cross drilled @ ? 45
    Serial number 309143E to 551442F uses a FTC5087 @ ? 45,
    Suffix G uses a FTC4850 @ ? 65,
    Product Options
    Do you need a new pair of bearings for the new input gear ?
    If you find you have the earlier FRC5428 we are able to supply the oil feed plate which will enable better oil lubrication.

    Thanks had already checked that info What I am trying to determine is if a FRC 5428 gear is a FTC5089 without the longer splines or cross drilling or is there some other difference

    I thought there was a difference in the width of the gear teeth or something, that's why I had to cross drill my own
