Wanted: Pix of Disco 200 TDI airfilter housing

    G'day Guys,

Anyone have a 200 TDI Disco with the cylinder type air filter housing?

I'm looking for some pix as I am currently working out which air filter I want to use on my TDI conversion in the RR. Can I put a second battery in the passengers side with the 200 TDI one?

Pls email any pix to LRHybrid100@hotmail.com

    THX in advance

    200 TDi pics

I knew I'd seen some sort of pic like that before,

    It's in members Gallery (pg5) - Sclarke7171-modifications & repairs - snorkle install - ail filter all plumbed..

I can see why you'd want to go for that type too - not bad at all.

    Cheers Guys

The Disco 200 TDI air filter looks useful - but the I have now found the air cleaner element is $40-50 each, whereas the V8 EFI one is about $15.

I think I may just use the Disco 300 TDI one for now and then modify the EFI one so I can use a snorkel later - I will keep you updated.

    THX again,

I'm in the middle of the same decision. Snorkel due to go in this week if I get time & parts.

I had a chat today with someone (from one of the local LR crowds) who installed the standard V8 filter arrangement on his 300TDi transplant and then took it off and replaced it with a K&N because he found he had too much restriction. He suggested a 300TDi filter canister from a defender, which is what I'm going to try. I'll have to put up with the more expensive filter elements, as you've mentioned.....

    Cheers,
