    discoII window seals

shessh after reading all about all that "transmission slap" i feel sooooo petty here!
My drivers side window has pushed thru the seal in the door channel. Where can I buy replacement seal, and is it hard to fit (a 'how too' would be great).
Iknow I should be greatful that the only noise I have to contend with is wind noise, but well.... what can I say....... my auto doesn't 'slap'! (by the way just what does that 'slap' sound like? :?

go and find the nearest dumped car and just pull it off that.

when you fit it to yours use contact adhesive on the back to stop it from falling to the bottom of the door.

you can only replace the straight sides with this method as the angles it will be cut at will be different from car to car.

the drivers door window will always have the most wear. rip it from one of the back doors.

or you can spend big bucks at land rover.

You can also buy new channel from that mob that sell parts for old holdens and fords. Rare Spares, I think. They're on Gilbert Road around Coburg or it's neighbouring suburb, I think. I saw them twice a day commuting on the 112 tram when I visited Melbourne on business. Up here in Brisbane they are called Harrisons. Thay have different profiles and widths. I bought some for my wife's old Corolla a few years back. Cost about $8 a metre from memory. Good as new.
