    any pics of the tap on the back door?
    anyone else got taps fitted to the back door?
    pick up our long range fuel & water tanks next week form LRA and haven't quite settled on the position of tap yet but will be fitting pump, open to ideas

    sadly my coolest mod has been removed.........had to give the kids more legs room

    although i am getting a new tank made, just need to work out where and how.....

    Unless your utilizing it for something else, what about under the seat, although you'd have to modify or make a new one.

    looking at putting in my camper trailer at this stage.......no longer has access to a welder that welds aluminium

    Do you have any provision for occasional cleaning the inside of these tanks?

    I've left water standing in tanks before and found a build up of bacterial slime inside the sidewalls.
    Does anyone ever apply a coating to the inside of tanks to prevent the metallic taste associated with metal tanks?

    nope, its never been cleaned in the 5 years of operation.

    this tank is used on a weekely basics..well maybe every other week. the boys are always toppping up there water bottles after sport.

    have never tasted anything metallic
