Bugger. I took photos of one being fitted to a D2 at KLR Automotove a few weeks back - together with recovery points but I can't find the pix.
I know the whole lot came from Melbourne.

Has anyone fitted a bash plate to the front of their Disco 2? I have noticed that when tackling some muddy sections, the front plastic scoop below the radiator and fan collects so much mud it is not funny - acts like a shovel. Will I be impeding necessary air flow if I cover it up with a plate of some kind? It's really just to stop crap flying up there towards the fan etc but would be interested if anyone else has fitted such a thing and where they got it, how much they spent etc.

Would love to see some pics if you can find them Ron!! Do you think I would be creating problems for myself if I removed this plasctic scoop or covered it up with a plateOriginally posted by p38arover

Ronops: ? After all, it has been put there for a reason, but it just acts exactly like an ice cream scoop when in mud.
