That sign is bad news, the friggin ''crossed B"... i've seen it not once, can be BCU or IDM fault, i dont want to repeat the whole story cos it's long, here are some ideas: https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rov.../#post-2990756

Thanks guys for the help. Will plug the nano in and see what it says. I take it you mean by switched over to an auto not a manual by some chance?? And sierrafery thanks for that was hoping it wouldn't be too bad haha. What was the issue when you saw it? It's strange as did it last Saturday, then good all week and dejavu Saturday just gone but it only flashes for a few minutes then goes and get my signals on the dash back working when indicating..?

That flashing crossed B can bring all kind of symptoms, mine started with indicator's, windows and wipers missbehaviour then got worst and immobilised, replaced the BCU and was fixed then opened the old one and found a crack in the PCB so fixed that too... but it's possible to be the IDM as well, on others there were alarm system/immobiliser, central locking, courtesy lights problems, etc... nanocom might not help too much in the troubleshooting but it will be needed to programm a replacement BCU if that's the case

Hi guys just an update after plugging the nanocom in and yes the thing is reading it was in P/N!!! How can't be in that when its a manual. I've always noticed before this when I plugged the nanocom in that it picks up that the transfer box is in low when it's actually in High.. Could this also contribute to the issue I'm having now??

The low/high thing is a programming error in Nanocom.
    The other one isn't.

Cheers Phillip A.. Like I say the high/low has always been like that even when I got the nanocom, And yes it shouldn't be reading P/N when it's a manual!! In regards to the other day I did clean the plugs at the ecu but they were clean already as I changed that loom over last year...

Hi guys just wandering if anyone has any ideas on what could be this cause, it did clear and came back a few months ago when heading off up the high country except this time it is on all the time. I’ve plugged the nanocom in and sync the bcu to ecu and stil the same. Getting no faults come up. Have put it into a couple of places and one wanted to changed the interior fuse box under the dash to try that... I’m at lost to what else i could try the symptoms are when turning if ignition on get the 6 bongs and indicators work but don’t flash on the dash. I’m thinking maybe cluster issue and bcu and ecu are good and synced up and no issues with locking the doors or alarm and at the point where would like to get to the bottom of it myself and it has hindered me the last few months.. any help or suggestion is appreciated

did you let that happen? ...cos if the IDM was ruled out at least you are a step further and you can change the BCU then and pray to not be a wiring issue along the serial data bus between the BCU and IDM, no other way to rule this out

Hi sierrafery I didn’t ignore it just the issue cleared which is does normally, it’s come up then went but this time has stayed.. no I didn’t get the fuse box changed as just went there for them to plug it in and see if there software came up with anything as I was told that they also synced it all up and came straight but up so said seems to be something frozen to not reset.. think I might just have to bite the bullet and do it and see.. I’ll have to sync it all up once changed as well won’t I.? I do appreciate your’s and everyone help knowing my luck it will be a wiring issue...!

The fusebox/IDM is plug and play you just have to disconnect the battery first then after the swap leave ignition on II for 5 minutes alkso it has to be from the same age D2. The BCU(which is the most suspect to me in this case) needs complex programming
