With a lease check the figures. If you do the distance or have a high enough income its great. I do the k's so fall into the 7% bracket
I know there are a few D3 Diesel owners out there who have had their vehicles for a while now.
I know they are the apple of your eye and of course you did make the right choice BUT what do you really think of them as an everyday vehicle.
What issues have you had, what sort of fuel consumption, gripes, what have you found are really great. Is the SE with its extras such as air suspension really better in a cost benefit sense over the S with its basic coil suspension. I don't need the extra seats.
If you were in a position to redesign the car what would you delete, what would you add, what is just right.
While I was intending to look at them when I retire, I have just found out that I can buy (lease) through my work at a substantial discount compared to what I would have to pay if I bought privately, so this could possibly change my plans.
Thanks
Garry

Where are the D3 owners? From your own experiences what are the D3 pluses and negatives.
Cheers

I'd be interested in one if I can lease it - and I think we now can under our new EBA.
Which model are you looking at?

A TDV6 S but if there is a real (rather than nice to have) advantage in the air suspension then I might consider a SE - but I am not sure it is worth the extra $$ - hence my questions to current D3 owners.

garry, I believe you can get an S with an air suspension option if you only want to go 5 seats. Saves a fair bit of mula too.
I don't think you'd get the cross-linked suspension without air suspension.

Apparently the air suspension is about $2.5 -$3K extra on the S. Having heard about heaps of problems with it in the RR I am not sure whether it is worth it. I think it is similar to the old RR system rather than the D2 rear air suspension system - again - comments from current D3 owners wouod help.
