That depends on your wheel offset/backspacing. Push the wheels out to get good steering lock, & they'll rub. Pull the wheels in to clear the flares & steering lock is diminished.Quote:

The rubbing was only audible when the vehicles suspension was fully articulated.
I had 7" disco rims taken out to 8" with 1" less backspacing. Rear ETs initially rubbed a bit front & rear on the flares around town. One side was worse than the other, the axle must be slightly offset under the car.
Better than std steering lock.
Rubbing has stopped now, the flare has just worn away..
