Hi Guys,
Good idea, Shaun, but what's the address of the MR branches in Charleville, Mt Isa, Katherine, Darwin, Kunnunarra and Broome?? The point of these "dealer whinge" posts is not that there are some very good independent LR specialists in a few cities but that the 'common or garden variety' LR owner can't get anthing resembling competent support from the few remaining official authorised LR dealers in this country.
Wonder if a web-petition to the appropriate branch of Ford would do any good?
[Slap - Slap] Sorry - I just gave myself a thorough slap about the face for being stupid. Why am I being so naive?? Is there any more red in that bottle, dear??
That's true but they will get stuff to you anywhere in OZ in double time and it's the right stuff at the right price. As for the electrics if I owned a later model car (my s1 disco I can fix with a muti meter) I'd consider buying a Rova com unit, or just a code reader of some kind. The basic code readers can't reset anything but the Rova com can. Mr had bitts in Broome in 2 days from a phone call. The Toyota,Nissan guys at the camp ground had been waiting 2 weeks.
