minimum required for 35's on Rangie

Ok, every time i go offroad lately i get stuck in a mud hole. Traction is never a problem, its the diffs that get hung up.
So im thinking that instead of going down the diff lock road at the moment, that i go for some 35" tyres.
So what is the minimum i need to do to run 35's reliably?
I already run 32's and have a 2" spring lift.
Also what sort of cost would i be looking at?

2" spring, 2" body lift, cut gaurds with flares and stronger axles/ centers/ cv's- these you will break first outing.

best option for you mate, come down to the meet-n-greet at RoverLand 8th OCT
and then see for yourself what is required
and have a beer and a snag at the same time, and of coarse meet some of the boy's

then on the 9th come along on our trip and see how good they are

Theres no real cheap solution to this problem 'cause once you head down the 35's track you can't turn back. 8)

Like Loanrangie said, cut guards, add flares, offset rims, body lift, axles, diffs, etc, etc and etc.

Come to Roverland and speak to Glen. He'll sort you out no worries.
    Cheers

    fit 35s:

    50mm body lift.
    50mm spring lift.
Mud guard chop front and rear: flares ex rangie spares.

wheels minimun of 100mm back space. I use 80mm b/space.

Back space = distance from wheel mounting surface to back of wheel.

    axles: jacmac or maxidrive.
Diff centres: fit J/mac or M/D lockers or detroit in rear.

Fit a locker to front and will probaly start to break cv: fit haultech cv.

Steering links may need upgrade to M/D links.

thats most of what Is required.

    Michael.

    hi thanks Michael,
as far as diff centers in the front what would i need? Do i have to use a locker or would that just increase the strain on the cv'c?
What about a LSD ie, Tru Trac up front?
