    IPF spotlight problem?!

    G'DAY

I just bought a pair of second hand IPF spotlight from pawn broker but without any wires, switch and relay. I fitted in my 1993 Disco TDi200 with new wires, switch and relay, I know how do it BUT my Disco go funny when I touch or turn steering column switch or normal light switch and everything nearly die...

When I disconnect the spotlight wire and everything went fine...

    Any suggest?

    Hi Christopher
I think you may have the terminals on the relay mixed up.
There is a standard wiring system, the numbers on the relay all have a function.
I can probably find a wiring diagram in my shed if you havent got one or somebody else doesnt put one up.
