    NOW..What was that??

    G'DAY

    I have problem with my 1993 Disco TDi200 which it have electrical problem...

    Start the car which is fine.
    Turn the headlight on.
    The low warning fuel light went on but the fuel wasn't empty still got more then half full?!...for few seconds warning light went off.
    There's more... 8O
    Drive along the road but when I hit the brake and the warning light came on again!! for few seconds and went off... same as when I turn the steering column switch on right or left... low warning fuel light on and off again...

    Also before start it when I turn the key ignition on to start but the whole power went dead even the clock went dead too! Then turn it off and back on and start ok...strange??

    Spotlight is not connect yet...

    Sounds like a faulty earth in your dash wiring. Whenever electrical bits that shouldn't interact start doing so, suspect an earthing problem.

    First thing i would try is to get a heavy duty bit of cable. Bit like used for a winch. And att to the engine - gearbox (or any of that lot) And the other end to the chassis.
    had a simular problem on the 90. Did this and went away
    95 300 Tdi Defender 90

    [b]<span style="color:blue">check the simple things first.....

    make sure battery terminals are clean and tight....
    then check the same on the earth strap to the engine.....
    and the +ve cable to the starter.....
