It's not RF interference is it? Its happened to my D2 twice(it's like WTF she worked 10min ago), though it did eventually start.

Fuel pump relay working?
Has the engine/ box just been fitted or was it running in the vehicle previously?, 10 or 16 p ?
Would the SRS controller being removed cause the engine not to fire?
Have you primed the fuel system? TD5 Defenders should be the same has a D2.
Yes the system is well primed.
It's had 9 full start/prime sequences.
I have a brand new battery as well as another being used. Both fully charged.
I've just started on the Earth checks. I'll plug the SRS module back in too and see if that changes anything.
Think because you can fire the injectors via nanocom should mean that's not the case ( but I'm guessing , would have to look at rave which I don't have with me) , but one thing I've done in the past is swapping the 2 fuel lines in to the regulator around on 2 occasions which worked both times , you could also check the injectors themselves are getting pulse signal while cranking which would eliminate ecu issues, I assume from reading all your other posts you obviously savvy enough to have checked cam timing , bump clearances , etc and are aware the buggers can take a long time to fire if the fuel galleries are empty, foot to floor gives max fuel for a few cranks and then foot off while still cranking usually does it after a few bleed cycles
