Thread: SLS compressor

Hello everybody has anyone pulled apart the compressor is there 'o'rings that need replacing etc I have just fitted a set of draws in the back plus filled the fuel tank (long range tank 150ltrs) and noticed the rear sagging
a bit I have had bigger loads than this in it before.

It has been getting slow to level in the past so when I got home checked for leaks etc then I lowered the car letting the air out then manually operated the compressor to raise the suspension gets to a certain point then the car will not go any higher use to go much higher so without trying to plug in pressure guage can only assume compressor reaches certain pressure and just can't go higher due to bypassing internally.

I have owned the car since 99 so I guess it is getting worn out would like to get my hands on another one then strip mine down to repair or modify.

the actual compressor i think was a thomas (from memory)....
and can be replaced with a new one.....
