    Yep, the early Discos had uni-uni, then they changed them over.

    You will also need something to undo the pinion nut and to torque it back up and something to remove the locating pin that goes from the pinion flange through the donut and into the tailshaft. Pulling that out is the hardest part, I ended up hitting it with an engle grinder to "release" it.
